Patricia Collins “Pat” Blanton, age 77, peacefully rejoined her loved ones in Heaven on Sunday, October 18, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Blanton; her parents, Lloyd and Massie Wright Sale; her 1st husband, Richard Douglas Collins, Sr.; and several brothers and sisters.

Pat is survived by her children, Richard Douglas “Bryd” Collins, Sr. and wife, Sandy, Michelle Scott and husband, Mike, Jeanette Clear and husband, Greg, and Jamie Collins and wife, Jennifer; several brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Brandy Thompson, Keshia Heath, Dustin Clear, Crystal Clear, Kimberly Chapman, and Brady Collins; great-grandchildren, Skyler Thompson, Kaden, Ava, and Weston Heath, Mia and Naomi Clear, and Amelia, Adeline, and Hazel Chapman; fur baby, Cocoa; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Chris and John for their kindness, care, and assistance in helping Pat and taking care of her home.

Pat will be laid to rest privately at the Wright Family Cemetery in Amherst, Virginia.
