Patricia Ann Vandyke, 61, of Marion, Virginia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 20, 2025, at Francis Marion Manor.

She was born on June 15, 1964, in Abingdon, Virginia. Patricia was a very private person, but to those who knew and loved her best, she was a feisty firecracker with a big heart. Above all, she loved her family deeply and always put them first. She was selfless, quick to help others, and her caring spirit touched everyone around her.

Patricia enjoyed the excitement of racing. She proudly supported her son and traveled with him to the tracks, always cheering him on. She also loved watching NASCAR and kept up with her favorite drivers.

Though reserved, her love, strength, and fiery personality will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Eugene Miller; her husband, Tommy Vandyke; and brother, Ronnie Eugene Miller.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Thomas Vandyke and wife Misty of Louisa, VA; her mother, Eula Mae Puckett; seven siblings, Jimmy Miller and wife Brenda, Dreama Puckett, Ricky Miller and wife Sheila, Teresa Shelton and husband Jeff, Allan Puckett, James "Jr." Puckett and wife Bonnie, and Becky Brown; her four grandchildren, Charity, Caylee, Thomas, and Camden Vandyke; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to D.R. Henderson Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, September, 26, 2025 at Green Hills Memory Garden with Pastor Paul Vandyke officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.
