Patsy Ruth Cuddy Smith, of Saltville, Virginia passed away on Sunday, December 6th, 2020 at Ivy Hall Rehabilitation Center in Elizabethton, TN. Patsy was born on May 25th, 1934 and was a lifelong resident of Saltville. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Harold Smith Sr, parents Millard F. and Lucille Blackwell Cuddy, brothers Raymond Cuddy, Jackie Cuddy, and Billy Cuddy along with sisters-in-law Rose Cuddy and Sue Cuddy. Patsy and her late husband Harold Smith Sr. were owner and operators of East End Supermarket for many years. She is survived by a son Harold Smith Jr. and Linda Smith (Deanna, Danielle), of Bluff City, TN, daughter Dianna and Tim Frye (Ben and Zach) of Liberty NC. Also, brother Robert Cuddy of Washington County VA, sister-in-law Anne Cuddy, along with nephews, Thomas, Richard, David, William, Jeff and Jerry Cuddy. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, Virginia. Everyone is asked to please follow the Covid19 guidelines.
