Peggy Yvonne Colston Keith

Peggy Yvonne Colston Keith, age 86, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Francis Marion Manor in Marion, Va. Peggy was born August 18, 1939, to the late Robert Lee and Nora Colston.

She was a lifelong Christian and faithfully attended church at Heavenly Hope Baptist Church. Peggy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a caretaker and worked as a CNA at Valley Nursing Home in Chilhowie. She loved to cook and worked several years at the Selena Restaurant in Saltville.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Keith; her son, David Lee Keith; and several brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Mike Keith; one sister, Mary Wyatt; brother, Clayton "Jackie" Colston; grandchildren, Michael Allen Keith, Neila Blizzard; and great-granddaughter, Delilah Blizzard; several nieces and nephews; and a host of many friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Henderson Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 with Pastor Ray Wolford officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Saltville, Va.
