Rich Valley, VA Peggy Glenn Stephenson, age 87, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at Abingdon Health and Rehab in Abingdon, VA. She was a very generous and caregiving person. She was a retired teacher and past president of the Virginia State Reading Association. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Gladys Stephenson; and brothers, Claude Perry Stephenson and Robert Lewis Stephenson. She is survived by her sister, Sandra Stephenson Long and husband Milton; and brother, Roy Scott Stephenson and wife Shelby; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Ridgedale Cemetery with Rev. Mack Blevins officiating. Everyone is asked to please follow the COVID19 guidelines.
