Ralph Dean Borders, age 88, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Va.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Fannie Mae Borders; siblings, Charlie, Ruth, Earl, Jim, Fred, John D. "Punk", and Bob.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife which he married February 22, 1962 ; his daughter Hope Davis and husband Bryan; three sisters, Shirley Borders, Betty Kestner, and Patsy "Sis" Haynes all of Saltville; and one brother, Jack Borders of Cleveland, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services as per his wishes.
