Richard Fulton Ellis, age 70, departed this life at his home in Saltville, Va. on Monday, November 7, 2022. Richard gained his wings and is now in the arms of his Lord and Savior. He was born in Marion, Va. and lived there most of his life before moving to Saltville. Richard enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Graham and Josephine Coe Ellis; two sisters, and four brothers.

Left to cherish his memory, is his wife, Megan Ratcliff- Ellis; four sisters, and four brothers; Carl and Jennifer, Cayden and Katlyn Burgess; special friend, Hector Heath, and his very special four-legged companion, Annabell.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2022 at D. R. Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Doane officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
