Richard L. "Rick" Wassum, Jr., age 70, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023. Rick was an avid outdoorsman. He loved his dogs, hunting, fishing and riding his Harley. He always enjoyed time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Adarean Wassum, special aunt, Saundra Wassum, and several other aunts and uncles.

Rick is survived by his son, Charles "Charlie" Wassum and wife Angie; grandson, Cole Wassum, his "little buddy"; brother, Mike Wassum and wife Tine'; niece Abby Hester and husband Cody; step-mother, Eleanor Wassum; step-sister, Tippi Matherley and family; and several cousins and special friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Frye and Rev. Chuck Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Rose Cemetery.
