Meadowview, Va. Our Dad, our Papaw, left this life for a far greater one on Thursday, 31 March 2022. Bobby was born on 29 August 1931 to Millard F. Cuddy, and Lucille Blackwell Cuddy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond, Jackie, and Billy and his sister, Patsy Cuddy Smith. Bobby was a lifelong resident of Washington County Virginia and owned a farm near Blackwell Chapel. Dad worked his entire life, as a farmer, at U.S. Gypsum, at Olin Matheson Chemical Corporation and at Westinghouse, where he retired as the Supervisor of Maintenance. Dad was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was stationed in Korea with his brother Billy who was in the Army at the same time. Dad married the love of his life Rosie Mae Wallace in October 1954, Mom preceded Dad in death on June 2, 2004. Bobby is survived by his four sons, Tommy (wife Dina), Ricky (wife Debbie), David, Bill (fiancé Sarah). Grand Children Robert F. Cuddy, II (Bob and wife Brooke), Angie (Husband Chris Brooks), Andrew, Katie, Arrow Brooks and Cassady Brooks, Mikala (husband Tyler Price), Sara and Luke. Great Grand Children Emerson (Emmy) and Laurelai. Pallbearers are Chris Brooks, Arrow Brooks, Andrew, Bob, Luke and Benjamin Cuddy. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, 3 April at Blackwell Chapel United Methodist Church, 8329 Blackwell Chapel Road, Meadowview, VA, visitation from 5 to 7 PM and funeral service at 7 PM. Graveside service will be on Monday, 4 April at the Blackwell Chapel Community Cemetery, on the hill above the Church.
