Glade Spring, VA, Robert Marvin Holmes, Jr., age 59, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA. He was a former employee of Bristol Compressors, and also worked as a carpenter and electrician. Robert loved being at the lake with his family and friends, boating and fishing, and also loved college football, especially Virginia Tech and Alabama. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Pam Holmes; son, Brandon Holmes; daughter, Brittany Holmes (Taito); parents, Robert "Bob" and Judy Holmes; and sister, Lisa Henderson (Joe).
