Saltville, Va. Rodney Allison, age 67, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022, at his home. Rodney loved to fish and enjoyed gardening. He supported his grandchildren in all they did especially in sports. He was preceded in death by his parents, Worley and Mattie Robbins Allison; son, Troy Lamie; brothers, Dave Allison, Tom Allison; sisters, Virginia Dare Allison, Alice Samaniego, Pat Rust, and Paige Dunford. Rodney is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diane Gates Allison; sons, Trenton and Travis Lamie; brothers, Lee Allison, Don Allison, Ron Allison, Mac Allison, Johnny Allison, Dick Allison, and his twin brother, Roger Allison; sisters, Lynn Six, and Janice Lowe; several nieces and nephews; special niece and nephew, Joe Samaniego and Rhonda Fullen; Grandchildren, Evan Lamie, and Dalton Lamie; two special fur babies, Patch and Trooper.
