Roger Columbus Talbert, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Va. He was preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Lucille Talbert. He loved the outdoors where he gardened, and mowed lawns. He liked to draw, paint, and cook.

Left to cherish his memories are his sister, Sheila Cooper; nephew, Robin Cooper; great nephews, Michael Cooper, and Joshua Hollow; special cousins, Cynthia Kitts, and Mike Eastridge; friend and caregiver who was more like a brother, Joey Ramagge.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville, Va. with Pastor Mark Baumgardner officiating.
