Ronnie "Ronimo" Bennett Saltville, VA Ronnie "Ronimo" Bennett, age 62, passed away on July 16, 2021 after a long battle with lung cancer. Ronnie was born in Phoenix, AZ to James and Violet Bennett. Ronnie was well known and loved by everyone he met. He was always telling wild stories and making people laugh, which was his goal. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His grandchildren were his biggest fans. Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother and father, James and Violet Bennett; his sister, Cheryl Wilson; brother, James "Jimbo" Bennet; and his only son, Frankie Bennett, who he loved and missed with all of his heart. Ronnie had a very large, loving family with many spread out all over the United States, but those closest include; his daughters, Brandy Hayes and Tim of Bristol, TN, Theresa Bennett and Jeff of Girard, OH; sister, Carol Runkles and Jessie of Mt. Airy, MD; brother, Charles "Chuck" Bennett and Linda of Saltville, VA; a very special twin sister, Bonnie Bennett and Donnie of Taylorsville, NC; sister, Sharon "Sharon Kay" Decker of Berkley Springs, WV; grandchildren, or as he called them "grandbabies", Lily, Emma, Kaleb, Chloe, Aaliyah, and Dillon. Ronnie will be sorely missed by all that knew him. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Bennett Family Cemetery in Saltville, VA, with Pastor Joe Wilson officiating.
