Ron Ol'Man Dale Allison, passed away July 24th, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.  Ron was born March 19th, 1951 to the late Dale and Ruth Allison.

Ron grew up in Saltville, Virginia where he married the love of his life Fay Frye on March 25th, 1972.  Ol'Man was a member of IBEW Local 222 and built power lines all over the United States for 51 years.

Including his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brothers; Butch and Mike Allison; and his sister Donna Allison.

Those left to cherish his loving memory is his wife of 53 years Fay Allison; two children, Shane (Erica) Allison and Jennifer (Joe) Hanel; three brothers, Fred (Linda) Allison, Rick Allison and Gerald "Cotton" (Rosie) Allison; two sisters, Brenda (Dan) Jackson and Lynn (Larry) Trogdon; 7 grandchildren: Danielle (Zack) Sheets, Nathan (Virgie) Allison, Devin (Haylee) Allison, Dylan (Emily) Allison, Madison (Lucas) Allison, Shaynae Alexius (Brandon) Hickman and Jace Hanel.   Additionally, 9(+1) great grandchildren: Amelia, Colton, Salem, Raelynn, Olivia, AnnaLeigh, Natalie, Hays, Kinsley and one on the way, Oakley.   He will also be missed by two sisters- in- law, Nioka Frye and Mary Frye. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, cousins and special friends.

Funeral and Memorial services for Ron Ol'Man Allison will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Saltville, Va. with Pastor Terry Frye officiating.  The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.

In honor of the Ol'Man, blue jeans and lineman shirts are welcomed attire.
