Saltville, Va. Ruby Mae Bise, age 79, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at her home. Ruby was born in Chilhowie, Va. in 1942 and then spent most of her life in Saltville. She was very faithful and read her bible daily. Ruby loved all of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Goye and Claire Reeves; her husband, Vance Bise; one son, Tab Bise; two brothers, Ralph Reeves, and Goye "June" Reeves, Jr.; brother-in-law, Frank Sage; sister-in-law, Peggy Reeves. She is survived by her two daughters, Valerie Mitchell and husband Jeff of Bristol, Va., Vanessa Heath and husband David of Athens Ga.; brother, Doug Reeves of Columbia, Sc.; two sisters, Mickey Sage of St. Petersburg, Fl, Vee Widener and husband Jerry of Chilhowie, Va.; daughter-in-law, Christy Bise of Saltville, Va.; six grandchildren, Amanda Wooten, Josh and Jeremiah Bise, Gabby and Gavin Mitchell, and Heather Heath; three great-grandchildren, Austin, Mason, and Tanner Wooten; brother-in-law, Jerry Bise and wife Polly of Tazewell, Va.; sister-in-law, Nancy Bise of Glade Spring, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 13, 2021. A visitation will be held at D.R.
