Sadie Jo Boardwine Smith

Sadie Jo Boardwine Smith, age 75, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023, at Johnston Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Rosa Terry Boardwine; her husband, Thomas Buford Smith; two sisters, Shirley Shook, and Doris Hammond; and brother, J.D. Boardwine.

She is survived by her two sons, Tommy Smith and fiancé Joanna Maiden, and Jonathan Smith; one sister, Pat Hess; five grandchildren, Aaron Smith and fiancé Amanda Barbrow, Zach Smith and fiancé Taylor Moore, Ben Smith, Tyler Smith, and Emily Smith; two great-grandchildren, Waylon and Willow Smith; and special niece, Betty Shropshire.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Mount Rose Cemetery. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.
