Bristol, Va. Sally Lee Harris, age 76, of Bristol, Va., formerly of Saltville, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in Bristol, Va. She spent her life as a writer for newspapers and educational institutions. She was baptized at Madam Russell United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Barbara and Carl Harris; her brother, Steve Harris, all of Saltville. Sally is survived by two brothers and their wives, Gregg and Sandy Harris of Saltville, and Brian and Becky Harris of Bristol; three nieces, Brenta Harris of Bristol, Tracy Harris and husband Marcus Hairston of Collinsville, Va., and Melissa Henderson and husband Phillip of King George, Va.; great-nephew, Dmitri Gerasimov of Bristol, Va.; and great-niece, Kyla Hall of Collinsville, Va., and also many other children of my nieces, including Melissa; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the D. R. Henderson Funeral Home with Rev. Scott A. Robertson-Gouge officiating.
