Sarah Jane Lamie, age 76, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Smyth County Community Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Doris Barrett; and one sister, Mae Lamie.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years of marriage, Henry Lamie, Sr.; one son, Henry Lamie, Jr.; brother, Neal Barrett and wife Cathy; grandchildren, Victoria Koziol and wife Mandi, Ben Lamie (Kristin); four great-grandchildren, Sarah, Gwen, Hendrix, and Gabby; and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Plasterco First Church of God with Pastor Charles Williams officiating.
