Sharon Everhart Cahill, age 75. Heaven received another Angel on December 6, 2025. Sharon was the loving wife of the late Rev. William
Eugene Cahill, Sr., and together they shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. Their life together was deeply rooted in faith, love, and family. Throughout their life together, she faithfully held the role of a preacher's wife, standing beside her husband with devotion, support, and faith through every season of ministry. Sharon was a devoted member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church in Abingdon.  Above all, Sharon was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.  Family meant everything to her.  She loved all of her family deeply, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.  Sharon will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, and her memory will live on through her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Pauline Everhart.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, William E. "Gene" Cahill and wife Maria, and Charles Wesley Cahill; the centers of her life, her eight grandchildren, Elise (John Oliver), James, Olivia, Ansley, Jack, William Eugene III, Sophia, and Maggie; her sisters, Robin Brickey (Preston), and Peggy Farris; sister-in-law, Dee Dee Boyd (Bo); brother-in-law, James Cahill; many nieces and nephews; and her Shady Grove Church family.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. at Shady Grove United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 13,2025 with Pastor Dalton
Richardson officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
