Sharon D. Leonard of Bristol, VA went to be with the Lord, Monday February 20, 2023. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, great-grandmother and friend; she will be greatly missed. We will remember her for her kindness and caring heart that embodied her Christian values. She attended Fellowship Chapel of Bristol, VA and retired from King Pharmaceuticals. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Russell U. Owens and Bonnie B. Kiser.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 53 years, Robert "Bob" Leonard; two sons, Jonathan M. Leonard and wife Hope, Nathan T. Leonard and wife Heather; brother, Dennis R. Owens and wife Kathy Lee; sister, Janet O. Turley and husband Richard; step-mother, Dr. Joanna M. Owens; grandchildren, Ashton M. Meredith and husband Jordan, Ethan N. Leonard and Averie M. Leonard; great grandson, Sutton J. Meredith; and special nephews, Josh and Seth Taylor.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Fellowship Chapel Church (Crockett St., Bristol, VA) with Pastor Scott Price officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening prior to the service. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2023 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon, VA.
