Shirley Mae Holmes Harris Saltville, Va. Shirley Mae Holmes Harris, age 69, passed away peacefully fighting a long courageous battle with cancer with the help of her Lord and Savior. She is preceded in death by her parents, McKinley Holmes and Ella Mae Holmes; and one sister, Peggy Gates. She is survived by her sons, Ernest Hall and Phillip "Andy" Harris; grandchildren, Haley and Braden Hall; and two sisters, Sandra Smith, and Patsy Frye. Special thanks to all of the healthcare professionals; Carters Pharmacy; special friends, Brenda Evans, Rachel Lee, Preston Brickey, Brian Call, and Darrell Talbert. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Elizabeth Cemetery. Everyone is asked to please meet at the cemetery.
