Saltville, VA Sidney Wayne Roark, age 75, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at his home. Sidney was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and Nora O. Roark; one brother, Glenford Ray Roark; and three sisters, Peggy Ann Roark, Evelyn Sue Rhea, and Betty Helton. He enjoyed walking and riding his bicycle. He loved working with other people, and also spending time building things in his workshop. He is survived by his three brothers, Frank Roark and wife Judy of Kingsport, TN, Dempsey Roark and wife Judy of Marion, VA, and Phillip Roark; two sisters, Francis Hunt, and Nancy Wyrick both of Saltville, VA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Mullinax and Pastor Wade Kestner officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the service. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, VA.
