Sue Carol Gillespie, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Adelle Hayden Davidson; her husband, Sam Roger Gillespie, Sr.; and her daughter, Sandra Prysiazny.

Sue is survived by 3 sons, Sam Gillespie, Jr. and wife Tammy Gillespie, Gary Gillespie and wife Melanie Freeman-Gillespie, and Douglas Gillespie; one brother; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Ridgedale Cemetery in Rich Valley, Va. with Pastor Daniel Garrett officiating.
