Terry Keith Crabtree Rich Valley, VA Terry Keith Crabtree, age 73, born August 24, 1948, died at his home in Saltville, VA, on July 8, 2022. Keith was preceded in death by his parents John David Crabtree, Jr. and Mary Ellen Crabtree, and brother, Rudy Arnold Crabtree. Keith was a life-long resident of Southwest Virginia where he was a farmer and entrepreneur. He founded and was president of PIW Construction Company. He was a long-time supporter of the Rich Valley Fair Association. Keith was a strong believer in giving back to the community and he did so, many times anonymously. He was also a long-time member of Ridgedale United Methodists Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Esther Crabtree, of 57 years. He also leaves behind two brothers, David Haynes Crabtree and wife Evelyn of Newton, NC, and Gary Dwight Crabtree and wife Carol of Saltville, VA; sisters-in-laws, Donna Hayes, Sandy Buchanan and husband Tom, Dawn Buchanan and husband Jim of Saltville, VA; also, several nieces and nephews who he loved very much. The family would like to give special thanks for the loving care provided by Greever Clinic, Chilhowie, VA, Home Nursing Company, Chilhowie, VA, and Wytheville Hospice of SW Virginia, Wytheville, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Ridgedale United Methodist Church with Pastor Mack Blevins officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service. The burial will follow at the Ridgedale United Methodist Church Cemetery.
