Thomas Wayne Coe
Blountville, TN
Thomas Wayne Coe, surrounded by his loved ones, went to be with his Lord on October 24, 2025 due to complications related to a motorcycle accident. He passed away two weeks after his 70th Birthday.
Tom was a compassionate man, an honest man, a man of full body and mind and a man of integrity. He loved helping others. He was quiet, spoke when he was spoken to. He was funny. He could make you laugh. He was upbeat and loved picking on family and friends--especially his wife Valerie. He loved life.
Tom's work years were at KPS Global in Piney Flatts, Tn. His hobbies were working around his home with his Kubota tractor and John Deere mower. He was an avid motorcyclist and loved riding his Harley Davidson with Valerie and his friends.
After retirement one of his favorite things was to meet with his friends each morning for breakfast at Finish Line Restaurant in Bluff City, Tn. A breakfast that often ran into noontime.
Tom was not only generous in life, but also in death as an organ donor so others may live.
Tom leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Valerie Blevins Coe who he cherished as she cherished him; two sons, Tommy Coe (Baltimore, MD), and Mike Coe (Baltimore, MD); grandson, Tommy Coe Jr. (Baltimore, MD); granddaughter, Ava Coe (Baltimore, MD); two brothers, Bill Coe (Chilhowie, VA), Ron Coe (Saltville, VA); father-in-law and mother-in-law, Delbert and Betty Blevins (Marion, VA);sister-in- law, Dena Bayes and husband Larry (Sugar Grove, VA),; nieces and nephews, Billy Jr and Morgan Coe (Saltville, VA), Scott Tuggle (Adwolfe, VA), Heather and Jeremy Barrett (Marion, VA) Ron Coe (Saltville, VA), Lori and Tim Rice (Saltville, VA), Jackie and Tina Jones (Cordova, MD), Tracy and Juan Rodriguez (Chilhowie, VA), Tammy and Jonathan Jones (Chilhowie, VA), Amy and Joe Robinson (Grayson County, VA), and their families.
