Tannersville, VA. Thomas Eugene "Gene" French, age 89, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 26, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ruby French; son, Kenneth French and wife Doris; daughter, Diane Rickmon and husband Johnny; four sisters, Mable Orr, twin sister Kathleen Allison, Betty Huffaker, and Sue Kinder and husband Henry; brother Harold French and wife Sally; 5 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 4 Great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Crabtree Cemetery in Tannersville with Rev. Mike Andrews officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery.
