Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" Robbins, age 70, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Smyth County Community Hospital.  He was born October 24, 1954, to the late Ramsey L. and Bessie Elizabeth Robbins.  Jeff graduated from Rich Valley High School.  After graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corps.  He was owner and operator of Robbins Construction Company, and he loved to work from sunup to sundown.  Jeff was a very simple man, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He always looked forward traveling out west on his annual hunting trip to Wyoming.

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his lifelong partner, Karen Lynn Heldreth.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory is his son, Daniel Robbins and wife Celeste of Fletcher, NC; brothers, Rufus Leonard Robbins of Shady Valley, TN, Donald Gene Robbins and wife Janet of Saltville, Jesse Allen Robbins of Saltville, Billy Joe Robbins and wife Annie of NC, and Bobby Wayne Robbins of Adwolfe; sister, Patricia Robbins Smith of Saltville; grandchildren, Porter Robbins, Poppy Robbins, Austin Call, Dalton Doane, and Colten Doane.

A Celebration of Life service for Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" Robbins will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Branson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
