Tonya Lynn Leverett age 33, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 27, 2025. Tonya was a loving mother to her children, whom she cherished dearly. She had a free spirit and a kind heart, always showing warmth and kindness to those around her. Tonya was polite, caring, and full of love, with a gentle soul that left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She found peace in the simple joys of life, especially taking long walks and embracing the beauty of the world around her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kevin E. Maynard.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Joaquin A. Kestner, and Jaliyah A. Kestner; her long-time boyfriend and father of her children, Jordan A. Kestner; mother, Robin Blackwell; sisters, Antoinette K. Leverett, and Chevy T. McGuire; aunt, Rhonda Minton; and niece and nephew, Alana K. West, and Sylas B. Taylor.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Friends Community Church in Saltville, Va. with Pastor Ted Johnson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
