Velma Jean Wyatt Atkins, VA Velma Jean Wyatt, age 68, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Abingdon Health and Rehab in Abingdon, VA. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Truman Wyatt; her parents, Garland and Nellie McGhee; and three siblings. She is survived by her five children, Ann Stowers and husband Danny of Marion, VA, Buddy Wyatt and wife Trudy of Atkins, VA, Gary Wyatt and wife Susie of Glade Spring, VA, Paul Wyatt of Atkins, VA, and Kimberly Wyatt and fiancé Cody Croy of Atkins; four sisters; one brother; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and one grandchild on the way; and her special fur baby, Oscar. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at D.R.
