Saltville, VA Vivian Counts Collins Boardwine, 88, of Saltville, VA, went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2021. She was a member of Allison Gap First Church of God and was a past member of many organizations including Bread of Life Community Food Pantry, the Garden Club and the local VFW post. Serving others, her church and her community were important to Vivian. Born to the late Charles Edward and Vada Taylor Counts she was preceded in death by her first husband, George B Collins Sr.; second husband, Charles B Boardwine; brother, Cecil Counts and wife Faye; sister, Evelyn C Henderson and husband Herschel; stepdaughter Rosemary Sheets; and stepson, George "Brad" Collins, Jr. Survivors include her stepdaughter, Linda Smith; stepson-in-law, James Sheets; stepdaughter-in-law and caregiver, Donna S Collins; stepson, Michael Boardwine and wife Pam; stepson, Larry Boardwine and wife Cara; stepdaughter, Melinda Worley and husband Paul; Step-grandchildren include Stephanie Smith, Beth Sheets, Mary King, Casey Boardwine, Nathan Boardwine and April Tittle and several great-grandchildren; nephews Charles E Counts II and Mark Henderson. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11 a.m. at D.R. Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor David Mumpower and Pastor Jeremy Dunn officiating. The burial will follow at the Mount Rose Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
