Wanda Sue Morgan, age 79, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025 at Valley Nursing and Rehab in Chilhowie, Va.

Wanda graduated from Rich Valley High School, and she was crowned the Beauty Queen.  She was a businesswoman, very head strong and motivated.  She was retired from Utility Trailer in Glade Spring.  Through the years, she continued her education and received an associate's degree.  Wanda was a very Godly woman, and she attended Rich Valley Presbyterian Church with her husband.  She loved her family and enjoyed taking the girls out and pampering them by taking them to the hair and nail salon.

Those left to cherish her loving memory is her husband, John Morgan, Jr.; one son, Sanders Chad Barrett; granddaughters, Katelyn Jade Barrett, and Kristin Desiree Barrett- Jones; great grandchildren, Chaden Michael Jones, Shayla Nefaye Jones, Kyra Desiree Jones, Alyssa Jade Jones, Alahna Grace Jones, and Christopher Landon Jones; sister-in-law, Anne Thompson and husband Art; nieces, Michelle Burris and husband Tom, and Susan Thompson and husband Bill; great nieces, Sailor and Caleigh Burris.

A Celebration of Life services will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Rich Valley Presbyterian Church with Pastor Michael Klumpp

officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
