Bristol, TN Wilda Jean Campbell went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 11, 2021. She was born on June 1, 1936. She was a native of Saltville, Virginia and a graduate of Saltville High School, Emory & Henry College, and the University of Virginia. Miss Campbell taught school for 37 years in the Bristol Virginia City School System. She loved being a teacher and all her students. She was a member of South Bristol United Methodist Church where she was active in Women's Ministry and in the Abingdon District of the United Methodist Women. Miss Campbell was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ethel G. Campbell, her sister; Violet I. Campbell, and her brother; James H. Campbell and his wife, Dorothy. The family wishes to thank those friends, caregivers and the staff at Elmcroft Assisted Living who have served Miss Campbell through the years.
