Glade Spring William Curtis (Bill) Lester, Jr. age 69, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Curtis Lester, Sr. and Pauline Fields Lester; brother, Joseph D. Lester, Sr. Bill was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a logger with his brother and his nephew. He is survived by his sister, Vivian Lynn Teaters; sister-in law, Sharon J. Lester; nephews, Joey Lester, Billy Teaters, J.W. Teaters, and Jessie Teaters; Aunt, Mildred Lester; special Great Niece, Madyson Teaters; special companion, Patty Ward. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2021 at D. R. Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Baumgardner officiating. Burial will follow at Old Glade Presbyterian Cemetery in Glade Spring, Va. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Pallbearers will be, J.W. Teaters, John David Lester, Monty Lester, Freddie Lester, Time Jones, and Nathan Thomas; Honorary Pallbearers, Tim Ward, Bill Farris, and Melvin Snyder.
