Saltville, Va. William C. "Pidney" Marshall, age 93, passed away at his home in Saltville, Va. He was a former employee of Olin Corporation, he was a retired construction electrician with the United Mine Workers, and he was a member of the William King #227 Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his beloved wife of 75 years, Jeanine Athey Marshall; daughter, Sandra Marshall Hoffman; son, David Carl Marshall (Linda) of Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Amy King (Brad), Scott Marshall (Candace) of Aiken, SC, and Derek Marshall of West Point, MS; great grandchildren, Bailey Counts, Addison Counts, Gabby Marshall, and Alex Marshall; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring, Va. with speaker Wayne Jones officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery.
